New to Grow
My journey into therapy began when my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. As I learned more about how to support her, I realized how meaningful it would be to help others navigate similar challenges. That experience inspired me to become the kind of therapist I had wanted for her—someone who listens deeply, meets clients where they are, and helps them feel truly understood. What I love most about being a therapist is connecting with people from all walks of life. Everyone brings a unique story, and I value the opportunity to build real relationships and offer a space where clients can feel safe, heard, and accepted just as they are.
In our first session, I’ll introduce myself and help you feel comfortable before we go through some initial questions to better understand your goals. From there, we’ll begin creating a treatment plan that feels realistic and supportive. I leave space for open conversation so we can start building trust right away. Over time, we’ll decide together what frequency and pace of sessions work best for you.
Clients describe me as warm, open-minded, and nonjudgmental. I stay calm and accepting no matter what is shared, which helps people feel safe being honest. I’m a strong listener and help clients reflect and gain insight in a way that feels natural and empowering.
I work with people of all ages, but I especially enjoy helping teenagers manage anxiety and depression. Adolescents face many pressures today, and I strive to be a steady, compassionate presence who helps them see their strengths and feel more confident in themselves.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients change their negative thoughts and behaviors.
I have experience using mindfulness skills and I am able to teach these techniques to my clients.
