I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in EMDR, I integrate Humanistic, Attachment- and Trauma-Informed perspectives, along with Family Systems theory, to guide my work. I continue to be passionate about continued education to ensure quality care and connection to new data and information.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, the goal is to explore overall fit, so that both of us feel comfortable as this work is very important, I believe it is important to have a level of trust and comfort increasing over time. There is a review of experience and approach that meets the needs connected to the goals you are coming to therapy to achieve.
