About me

Hi, I’m Dr. Tamika Person Knisley, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience assisting individuals through their personal and emotional challenges. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight, and work towards positive change. I believe that every person has the ability to heal, to overcome, and to grow. If you are ready to explore your experiences in a supportive, informed environment... take steps toward change, I’m here to help.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

What if, what if you had a person to help you with reducing the burden of sadness…anxiety…fear… What if, what if you had a person who created a safe, non-judgmental space who could help you move towards positive change in your life. I will take our first session to get to know you and your needs, collaboratively set goals, and establishing a plan for our work together. My aim is to create a compassionate and inclusive space where you can explore your inner world, overcome difficult emotions, and take action towards improving your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over 20 years of experience, I have developed a compassionate and informed approach to therapy. My compassionate and client centered approach integrates evidenced based treatment practices to address your specific needs. I believe in starting with people where they are and empowering them to create change in their life. If you’re ready to begin the journey of self-discovery and healing, I’d be honored to work with you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients who find themselves facing a wide range of life challenges from difficulty with regulating their emotions to significant life transitions.
