My name is Dr. James Abolarin, and I am a professor at Grand Canyon University training aspiring master-level counselors. I'm a licensed therapist. I specialize in working with individuals aged 18 to 75, using cognitive therapy to help my clients think about their challenges. I approach mental health concerns from a therapeutic viewpoint. I realize how difficult it can be to navigate life at times, especially during big life upheavals. These things can have a significant impact on our well-being, particularly if we do not have the necessary tools to deal with them. It may appear impossible to deal with these life challenges and escape the intense emotions that accompany them. I can assist you in navigating your mental health journey, and together we can learn how to deal with the problems that life throws at you. I primarily work with people who have depression, eating problems, or PTSD. Furthermore, I worked for various mental health agencies in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. I have worked with clients suffering from PTSD, eating disorders, addictions, marital troubles, bipolar disorders, and various other conditions. By changing your way of thinking, you might gain the confidence to make significant changes in your life. I will constantly strive to build a trustworthy relationship in which you feel heard. Together, we can overcome the apparently insurmountable challenges in your life. By changing your way of thinking, you might get the confidence to make significant changes in your life. My partner and I had an initial session with Dr. James Abolarin. While we appreciated his calm presence and professional demeanor, we found it difficult to fully connect during the session due to his thick accent, which made it challenging for us to understand parts of the conversation. We only had one session, so we can't speak to the full scope of his work. However, he seemed knowledgeable and genuinely invested in supporting us.
