About me

Welcome to Victoria's Whole Person Transformation. Meet Your Guide—Me, Victoria Fox, MSW, LCSW Hi, I’m Victoria Fox, owner/lead therapist at Whole Person Transformation, LLC. I am a very experienced dual diagnosis Mental Health Clinician, professionally trained Life Coach, Motivational & Spiritual Thought Leader, and a survivor of childhood and adulthood traumas, myself. I’m known for my warmth and compassion, a plethora of actionable, helpful suggestions, down to earth and laid back “real” manner, and my dedication to helping others reclaim hope, abundance, and joy. I've helped many connect with their inner wisdom and transform their lives. I am a divinely guided force of loving-kindness and support. I am nonjudgmental. My thoughts are that things happen. You learn from them and move on. I am positively shining with light, love and compassion. I hope to help you reclaim hope, abundance, and joy using intuitive and clinical techniques, as well as therapeutic tools. I am friendly, reliable, compassionate, knowledgeable, and curious about others. If asked, I will bring in my spiritual side and help you better connect with your high self and celestial team.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, there are brief introductions. We will begin the intake process, which is a fancy word for asking you a lot of questions about your symptoms and current situations, as well as how your symptoms are making it harder for you to move forward and function in your day-to-day life. I also just want to get to know you, and where you are now. After gathering this information, we will begin discussing what you would like to work on and why that is important to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have the power, as a learned expert, with lived experience, as well as years of successful practice with others, to help you feel safe and your needs more heard. I can generally walk a mile in your shoes and have great empathy but also gently hold people accountable for the things they need to change. I will help teach you to identify and take care of your given responsibilities with more grace and ease by helping you discover the importance of setting strong boundaries with loved ones and others, leading to decreased resentment and decreased overuse of your personal resources that leave us upset and exhausted. I will also share tips and strategies to help you maintain your peace of mind. I will help you live as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. I can also help you manifest your destiny and bring peace and the changes you desire to work on. Some of my greatest strengths are being friendly, caring, curious, and compassionate. I am experienced at helping others to heal, grow, and if desired, to connect with their Higher Power. I am skilled at understanding your perspective and feelings, increasing your self-awareness, validating your feelings, and calming you when agitated. Some of my expertise lies in managing chronic disease, working and learning from past trauma, mild substance abuse, working with those involved with CPS or the legal system, working with older adults, working with parents of special needs children, ADHD, burn out and job change, college students, and working with couple’s. I have 17 years of experience in Social Work as a case manager, and almost a decade as a dual diagnosis mental health therapist. I complete continuous education trainings throughout each year for therapy practice and am currently enrolled in several other certification programs, EMDR and ADHD certifications currently. I enjoy being a lifelong learner. I hold a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University, with a concentration in Medical Health, and hold a second license as an LCSW, which allows me to practice therapy. Related to my spiritual side, I have also completed an accredited Spiritual Life Coaching program, am a Certified Reiki Master, and am a Certified Soul Coaching Oracle Card Reader. I complete Hebrew Numerology Life Purpose reports upon request. I also have over 28 years of experience studying and using Spiritual Tools like Oracle Cards, Tarot, and Runes, and helping others manifest better futures using some of these techniques. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help you identify and change the negative thoughts and behaviors that contribute to your emotional problems. CBT is based on the idea that your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected, and that by changing your thoughts, we can change your feelings and behaviors. CBT is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy. This means that I will work with you to set specific goals for your therapy, and we will work together to achieve those goals.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a type of talk therapy for clients who experience emotions very intensely and is commonly used for clients with borderline personality disorder, but I provide it for other mental health conditions as well. The main goals of DBT are to teach you how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate your emotions, and improve your relationships with others.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is a type of psychotherapy that helps the yoy accept and cope with negative thoughts and feelings, and act in ways that align with your values and goals. ACT combines mindfulness, acceptance, and behavior change strategies. ACT is pronounced as "act" and is similar to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in some ways.

Couples Counseling

Couples therapy explores current problems with the intent of resolving longstanding dysfunctional patterns. Couples counseling is short-term and often focuses on one matter only. Like other forms of talk therapy, couples therapy aims to relieve your distress and improve your functioning in an important sphere of life.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is a therapy intervention that involves the me providing you with information about your diagnosis, symptoms, or the method of treatment used. It is a structured and specific method of providing knowledge. Psychoeducational therapy is a form of education-based therapy that focus on providing education, training, and support. Psychoeducation is now considered one avenue of treatment for mental health disorders, and it is about learning skills for living with your condition.

I like how open minded and respectful you are. I like that I don't feel like your taking a side and that you aren't blunt about things and that you talk through everything and try and explain everything. I like that I feel some relief after talking to you.
