LCSW
Hi, I’m Kendall Hall, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice in South Carolina. I hold a Master of Social Work from Winthrop University and bring over 10 years of experience to my work. I specialize in supporting clients who feel stuck in generational patterns, have experienced trauma directly, or are struggling to reconnect with themselves and others. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and centered on helping you heal and grow in a safe, supportive space.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and your goals. We’ll explore your history at your pace and begin identifying what you'd like to work on together. This session is about connection, not pressure—I’m here to listen, support, and start creating a path forward that feels right for you.
My greatest strengths lie in my compassionate, client-centered approach and my ability to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs. I integrate trauma-informed care with evidence-based methods like Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems to address both mind and body. Clients appreciate my warm, nonjudgmental presence, which fosters trust and encourages deep healing. I help clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create lasting positive change.
My ideal clients are individuals who feel disconnected from themselves or others—whether due to past trauma, generational patterns, or current life stressors. Many are women navigating major life transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, or hormonal changes. They may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, but are open to self-exploration and growth. I’m best positioned to support clients who are ready to deepen their self-awareness, build healthy coping strategies, and reconnect with their inner strength in a safe and compassionate space.
I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy as a powerful tool for helping clients better understand the different “parts” of themselves—especially those shaped by trauma, stress, or protective patterns. With IFS, we gently explore the internal dialogue between these parts, working toward healing the wounded parts and helping the protective parts relax their roles. In my practice, I use IFS to support clients in building greater self-compassion, clarity, and inner balance. It’s especially helpful in addressing anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. IFS aligns beautifully with my holistic and client-centered approach, offering a safe space for deep, transformative healing.
I use Somatic Experiencing (SE) as a foundational part of my trauma-informed approach. SE focuses on the connection between the mind and body, helping clients gently tune into physical sensations to release stored stress and trauma. Through this method, I support clients in developing greater body awareness, nervous system regulation, and emotional resilience. In my practice, SE allows us to slow down, notice what’s happening in the body, and work through trauma without needing to relive the entire story. I find it especially effective for clients experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, or feeling “stuck” in survival mode. It’s a powerful tool for healing that honors the body’s innate wisdom and capacity to restore balance.
