As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, I provide compassionate and solution-focused therapy to individuals across various life stages. With a Master's Degree in Counseling from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, and over 15 years of experience in psychology, I've developed expertise in addressing everyday stressors, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their concerns, identify strengths, and work towards lasting growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect us to build rapport using brief introductions. We will discuss your goals and current difficulties you are facing. With this information we will develop a realistic treatment plan to help you reach your maximum potential.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with clients closely for the majority of my 15 years in the psychology field. I bring empathic and active listening, while also helping you stay accountable for yourself. You will be able to feel empowered in your ability to handle challenges.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I've worked extensively with different populations including but not limited to, adolescents, young adults, and older adults. I have been able to help them build resilience, develop coping strategies, and cultivate healthy self-care practices.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT methods to help in interrupting negative thinking patterns with my clients. Using this technique also helps clients who are experiencing anxiety related symptoms. CBT is a behavioral method that helps to become aware of self pattern of thinking and use tools to interrupt depression, anxiety and low self esteem thinking.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have benefitted from providing this type of therapy method with my clients, to help them stay present in the here and now.
