In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your relationship with your therapist is one of the most important aspects of therapy and I work to create a safe environment, listening to your needs, moving at your pace. The first session is about us getting to know each other; building a sense of connection for working together. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, how you’re feeling now and over the past few weeks, how you’re dealing with your concerns, and what your goals are for participating in therapy.

I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and use CBT to understand how our thoughts link to our feelings and behaviors. I am trained in EMDR which is appropriate for treating multiple issues including anxiety, and depression.
