Hi, I am Janie Thompson, I believe that we must change how we think to change how we feel to bring about healing of the mind. I work to identify strengths in every person and build on their experiences with new skills and techniques to overcome obstacles. I provide support and education for individual clients and families with empathy and kindness in a relaxed atmosphere. I also challenge clients to grow while building on their strengths for change. I utilized mindfulness as well as behavior modification to augment my client's well-being. If you do not see a time/date available that works for you or even if it says I am Booked don't hesitate to reach out via text or call at (606) 733-0719 so I can make things work for you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Most of my experience and biggest strengths have been with anxiety, depression, poor self-image, ADHD, autism, and life transitions.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with several different age groups, but those who are seeking change and are maybe not sure how implement change into their everyday lives. Whether it is depression, anxiety, ADHD, or crisis I love to see people grow and help change their lives for the better.
