I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I have experience in helping individuals with Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss and Life Transitions. At the beginning of my career, I worked closely with older adults and their families to navigate loss, grief, medical diagnosis, family issues and adjusting to new caregiving roles. More recently, I have been working closely with individuals with anxiety disorders (such as social anxiety, panic attacks, and obsessive compulsive behaviors) depression, and attachment issues. I have always enjoyed working with individuals on a one-on-one level to improve coping skills and their overall well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is my ability to listen to your needs and work collaboratively to meet your goals. My approach is person centered, trauma-informed and strength-based.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with those who are feeling anxious, depressed, or stressed due to life stressors or past trauma. I can help to process these events or simply providing a safe space to be heard without judgement. I also love working with older adults who may be experiencing grief and loss, loss of independence or caregiving issues.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT tools such as cognitive restructuring, exposure, and mindfulness to help with problematic thoughts and behaviors.

Grief Therapy

I provide a compassionate approach to assist individuals to process loss in their life through acceptance, adjusting to their new life, and supporting them in finding connection or to maintain bond with their deceased loved one. I also provide psychoeducation about the grieving process to improve self-awareness.

Attachment-based

I help you understand how your early caregiver relationships have shaped adult emotions and relationships, fostering healing by exploring wounds, building self-awareness, and learning new ways to connect. The goal is to help heal and repair unhealthy attachment patterns.
