Hi my name is Orly Krupkin, LCSW and I'm glad you're here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I’m glad you reached out. I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, caregiver challenges, midlife concerns, and relationship issues - including maintaining healthy boundaries and building more fulfilling connections. My style is warm, collaborative, and supportive. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to create meaningful change. I strive to offer a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. You don’t have to go through this alone; I’m here to help you move forward one step at a time.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I'll start by getting to know you. I'll ask some questions to understand what's been going on with you, what brought you here, and what you hope to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to share everything right away; we'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a safe space where you can be yourself and feel supported as we begin this process together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients who work with me often say they feel comfortable and connected from the start. I strive to create a warm and supportive space where you can be yourself and speak openly about what's on your mind. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method; I listen and tailor our work to your unique needs and pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with adults that are navigating life transitions - whether adjusting to a new phase, coping with loss, managing relationship changes, or balancing life’s demands. I assist my clients with processing their emotions, improving their communication, and regaining their clarity and balance. Change can be challenging, even when it’s positive. I look forward to supporting my clients as they engage in the process of creating meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In working with clients, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a practical, evidence based approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. Often, when we're feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed, it's because certain thought patterns or habits are keeping us in a cycle that's hard to break. CBT gives us tools to interrupt that cycle. We will work together on the thoughts that are negative, self critical, or unrealistic and we'll work together to challenge and reframe them. We will develop small manageable steps to try new ways of responding. Therapy isn't about "fixing" you-because you are not broken. It's about learning new ways to challenges, becoming more aware of your patterns, and building the confidence to move forward with intention.
