About me

If you’re looking for someone who will sit back while you unravel your life's chaos alone, I’m not your person. But if you want someone who gently calls you out, celebrates your wins (even the small ones like doing laundry), and hands you actual tools (not just tissues), welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, which is fancy for I help you identify the unhelpful thoughts doing donuts in your brain, and together we kick them out and get you moving forward. I proudly support the LGBTQIA2+ community, and my practice is affirming, inclusive, and kink/poly-friendly. No judgment here, ever! Whether you're dealing with anxiety that won't shut up, depression that's overstayed its welcome, or you’re just trying to get it together-ish, we can work on making real, sustainable change. You bring the honesty. I’ll bring the dry humor, the empathy, and the occasional metaphor that doesn’t totally land but somehow still helps. Remember YOU>it.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, current challenges, and goals for treatment. This first session is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work, so you can decide if it feels like the right fit for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to build a strong, genuine therapeutic alliance. I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is the foundation for meaningful change. When clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported, they’re more able to explore difficult emotions, take risks, and move toward growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am best positioned to serve individuals who are looking for a collaborative, supportive space where they feel seen, heard, and respected. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward. Whether you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, stress, or relationship challenges, my approach is focused on identifying your strengths and helping you build practical solutions that align with your values and goals. I take a solution-focused approach, which means we will concentrate on what’s working, envisioning the future you want, and taking manageable steps toward that vision. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to support your process with curiosity, compassion, and clarity. I believe that each person already holds the capacity for growth and change, and therapy should be a space where that potential is supported and nurtured. At the heart of my practice is the commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can show up as your authentic self. I understand that meaningful progress can only happen when you feel emotionally safe and truly supported. Together, we’ll create a space that allows for self-reflection, empowerment, and forward movement all at your pace.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my work, I use ACT to help clients develop psychological flexibility which is fancy for the ability to stay present, open up to difficult thoughts or feelings, and take action aligned with their values. I integrate ACT by first helping clients build mindfulness skills and identify patterns of experiential avoidance that may be contributing to distress. From there, we explore values clarification exercises to help guide meaningful behavior change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work, I use CBT to help clients develop insight into the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I begin by collaboratively identifying maladaptive thought patterns and cognitive distortions that may be contributing to emotional distress or unhelpful behaviors.
