Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I have been practicing in the field of counseling for the past 10 years. I work with Christian men of all ages to assist them in walking through pornography or sexual addiction, depression, anxiety, compassion fatigue, along with other concerns. I can help provide space to explore, gentle and biblical guidance, compassionate accountability, and excited encouragement through progress.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, you can expect us to explore what is going on right now. What led you to reach out for help? We will identify some of the key concerns, aspects of foundation or stability that you would like to work on, and the first steps to moving forward. This will be a laid back time for me to get to know you and to begin developing a foundation that you can trust in the counseling relationship moving forward.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My first and greatest strength as a therapist is that I do not believe in a lost cause - no matter how many times you have tried to improve the situation you are struggling in right now, there is a way through and I can help you find it and see the first steps forward. I utilize a biblical foundation while identifying and incorporating a variety of tools and techniques that are specifically suited to you as an individual.

If you are a Christian man who is struggling to engage your faith in your daily life, you are not alone. Most Christian men try to walk through life alone without the iron sharpening iron that we read in the Bible. Do you struggle to let other men know what struggles you are facing? Would you like a safe space to speak to someone that will keep the foundation Biblical, but won't guilt you? Do you need the ability to process your experiences and concerns with someone you can trust, who will give a listening ear, assistance in walking through difficulty, accountability, and encouragement? I have a Bachelors degree in Bible in addition to a Master's degree in professional counseling that gives me a strong foundation in Christian counseling.
