Hi, I’m Amanda, a licensed clinical social worker. I work with adults and young adults who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel aligned with who they want to be. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or just feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be heard, understood, and supported. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical tools to help you manage stress, regulate emotions, and make choices that align with your values. I understand that life can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to help you navigate difficult emotions, gain clarity, and build healthier relationships with yourself and others. If you’re looking for support to process past experiences, cope with current challenges, or prepare for life transitions—like becoming a parent or navigating changes in your relationships—I can help you take the steps to feel more in control, resilient, and connected. You don’t have to face this alone, and it’s never too late to start prioritizing your well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and understand what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, your history, and what you hope to get out of therapy. Together, we’ll explore your goals and begin thinking about ways to address the challenges you’re facing. You don’t need to have everything figured out before our first session—this is a safe space to share what feels most important to you right now. My role is to listen, support you, and help you start identifying practical strategies to feel more in control, aligned with your values, and connected to yourself. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a sense of how we might work together and what the next steps could look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I create a safe, supportive space where you can be heard and understood. I help clients make sense of their emotions and patterns, and together we turn that understanding into practical steps to feel more like yourself and live in line with your values. Many clients say they leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and encouraged, ready to take small but meaningful steps toward change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to explore their emotions, gain insight into patterns that feel stuck, and take steps toward living in line with their values. My ideal clients may be navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, and are looking for a supportive, compassionate space to process what’s going on and develop practical strategies for change. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by past experiences, struggling with difficult relationships, or wanting to feel more connected to yourself, I’m here to help you build skills, gain clarity, and move toward the life you want to live.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I take an eclectic approach, drawing from several evidence-based therapies to fit each client’s unique needs. This allows our work to be flexible and responsive, whether we’re focusing on insight, coping skills, or creating change in daily life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS addresses trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, self-esteem and stress. It fosters self-discovery, healing, and personal growth by exploring and working with different parts of the self.

Mind-body approach

Mindfulness helps to teach you to stay present and reduce stress.
