I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience helping adults heal from trauma, attachment wounds, and patterns that no longer serve them. I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves, often after years of prioritizing others’ needs or adapting to unsafe environments. I have a special interest in working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, and I provide care that is affirming, respectful, and attuned to identity and nervous system differences. My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, integrating Internal Family Systems, attachment-based work, and practical coping tools to support self-trust, emotional regulation, and meaningful, sustainable change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance to get oriented and see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping for now—at a pace that feels manageable. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. I’ll explain how I work, answer your questions, and we’ll start building a collaborative plan together. Sessions are fully telehealth and intentionally relaxed—you may see me in a hoodie, and you may hear or spot one of my many dogs during session. Most clients leave the first session feeling more at ease, understood, and clearer about what working together could look like.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is helping clients access self-compassion early in the therapeutic process, even when they are deeply self-critical or ashamed. I am skilled at creating emotional safety and helping clients understand their symptoms as protective responses rather than personal failures. This often allows clients to move out of blame and into curiosity and self-leadership more quickly than they expected. I integrate trauma-informed, attachment-based, and Internal Family Systems approaches to support meaningful insight and nervous system regulation, so clients can experience relief while also building lasting internal change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who have tried therapy before and found it only marginally helpful, and who are now seeking deeper, more meaningful healing. They are curious, reflective, and open to exploring how past experiences, attachment patterns, and protective parts shape their current lives. Many are high-functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected internally. This work is best suited for clients who are willing to approach their inner system with curiosity, take responsibility for how their protective strategies impact themselves and others, and engage in therapy with honesty and accountability. I work well with clients who want to build self-awareness, self-leadership, and lasting internal change.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and relate differently to the “parts” of themselves that developed in response to life experiences and trauma. Rather than trying to eliminate symptoms, we get curious about what different parts are trying to protect and what they need. IFS is gentle, non-pathologizing, and deeply respectful of your inner world, allowing healing to happen through increased self-compassion, clarity, and internal trust.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a practical, skills-based approach to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. We work together to understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and to develop tools that support more flexible thinking and effective coping. CBT in my practice is collaborative and tailored, always grounded in compassion rather than self-criticism.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relationships shaped their nervous system, sense of safety, and patterns in adult relationships. Together, we explore attachment wounds with curiosity and compassion, while using the therapeutic relationship as a secure base for healing. This work supports increased emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and deeper, more secure connections with self and others.
