This service is for clients who want to better understand themselves, figure out next steps, and make practical changes—big or small—to improve their overall well-being. Counseling is short-term, usually up to 12 sessions, with occasional follow-ups to help support lasting progress. I am not licensed in treatment of substance abuse or addictions. I do not do court related work. Adults only.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, we’ll talk through your concerns, goals, and relevant background. We’ll explore what’s supporting your well-being and what may be getting in the way. Sometimes counseling is focused on finding solutions right away; other times, it’s about better understanding what’s going on and why you feel the way you do, so you can move forward with greater clarity and intention.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I offer counseling with an experienced professional focused on improving mental health and overall well-being. Together, we’ll clarify thoughts, feelings, and needs, and work in a supportive, encouraging space to plan and practice meaningful changes—whether in thinking patterns, emotional regulation, or behavior. I have extensive experience supporting people with anxiety, chronic illness, and life transitions, and helping them identify realistic changes that can make the biggest positive difference. My approach is engaged, respectful, direct, encouraging, and sometimes includes a bit of humor.
