New to Grow
Hello, how are you? I am sure you are nervous about telling a stranger all about your life and your struggles. I get it. Or, maybe you had a therapist and for whatever reason you are moving on to a new therapist. Please know, I am a judgement free trauma informed therapist who uses compassion, evidenced based methodology and life experience to assist with my clients journey to emotional awareness and mental wellness. I work with clients who have suffered loss of a close family member as their child, mother, father, sibling or spouse. I understand the pain of loss. I also work with couples who are just starting their relationship, or they are wanting to end unwanted conflict.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session, you will be able to ask me anything and also offer anything you are comfortable sharing. We will come up with a unique treatment plan for how you would like to have sessions to go. I will offer my expertise for you to choose which way you would like to proceed. You will also understand that we may work in one method for a bit and if you are wishing to switch things up, turn up the heat, or slow down, I am open to your flow.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My clients say that I am intuitive and a very good listener. My judgement free manner has helped my clients to share things they have not been able to share with family, friends. or other therapist. Clients have also shared that they feel like our sessions feel like a safe environment to explore past traumatic events. My couples have said that they felt that sessions were very organized and relate to practical life. Additionally, my grief and loss clients have shared that they have been comfortable sharing very difficult details of their loved ones passing.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is very engaged in their own mental wellness outcomes, meaning they are ready to personally heal and become a more active participant in their own life transition and choices. I enjoy working with couples who are ready to become a more accountable partner. That being said, I am not going to sit quiet and not make suggestions on what can be helpful for the outcome you are wanting.
