Hi! My name is Tyler, and it's nice to meet you. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I adopt a real, warm, and conversational approach to how I practice and believe that the relationship between patient and provider is one of the most important factors to determine successful treatment outcomes. I live in Arizona with my wife and two kids. I love photography, animals, and traveling.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session together, the only goal I have is to ensure you're comfortable and feel safe! It takes time to develop a relationship with your mental health provider, so our initial time together is "low-stakes" and best thought of as an opportunity to get to know each other and determine if I'm a good fit for your needs. Need time to warm up before you get to the deeper stuff? Totally cool. Been anxiously waiting to get a bunch of things off your shoulders? That's cool too! I'll meet you wherever you're at.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I think my greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to be genuine, engaging, and offer some levity within the mental health world. Therapy models and interventions are essential, but human connection is the most important element, in my humble opinion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You overthink everything, feel constantly tense, and don’t know how to shut your brain off — even when nothing is technically “wrong.” I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, concentration difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who feel stuck in cycles of overanalyzing, emotional overwhelm, or burnout. My approach is practical, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, and DBT. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and helping you respond to your thoughts and emotions with more flexibility and confidence. I aim to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where therapy feels useful — not performative.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I am trained in ACT and use it with my patients to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other general disorders. It's a useful model that helps tailor therapy to the values and goals of the people I work to support.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I am trained in DBT and use it to help clients develop mindfulness skills and positive coping mechanisms. DBT is useful for regulating big emotions like sadness, anger, and anxiety. It also helps the people I support develop better relationships with themselves and others.
