New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing outpatient mental health therapy to adolescents and adults. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I believe therapy is a partnership, and I strive to empower individuals to recognize their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I will ask questions about your concerns, background, and goals for therapy while also explaining confidentiality and the therapy process. This session helps establish a comfortable environment and begin developing a plan to support your mental health and well-being. It's also a chance for you to address any concerns you might have about your therapy journey.
One of my key strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and strive to meet each client with empathy, respect, and understanding. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients to identify their strengths and develop practical strategies for navigating challenges. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also integrating a trauma-informed approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment. My goal is to support clients in developing effective coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and building resilience so they can create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
