New to Grow
Hi, I’m Jessica, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I take a collaborative, down-to-earth approach and create a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without having to filter. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, supporting concerns like anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help you feel understood while also working toward real, lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk through what’s bringing you in. You don’t need to prepare anything or have everything figured out—I’ll guide the conversation and ask questions to better understand what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for. We’ll also start to get a sense of your goals and what working together might look like. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and not overwhelmed as we get started.
My approach is grounded, practical, and collaborative. I focus on helping you feel comfortable enough to be honest about what’s really going on, while also building tools you can use outside of sessions. One of my strengths is being able to meet you where you are without judgment, while still gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I work at a pace that feels manageable, helping you make sense of your experiences and take small, meaningful steps forward. I also believe you are the one doing the work, and part of my role is helping you learn to trust yourself, feel more confident in your decisions, and feel more in control of your life.
I work best with individuals, couples, and families who are feeling overwhelmed by everyday stress, relationship challenges, or life transitions. Many of the clients I support feel stuck, unsure how to move forward, or are trying to make sense of what they’re going through, and are looking for practical ways to feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I often work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, school or peer challenges, parenting stress, or shifts in identity and life roles. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and down-to-earth, with a focus on building coping skills that can be applied in daily life. I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at their own pace.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop practical strategies to create meaningful change in daily life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I support clients in building skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and tolerate distress. This includes practical tools for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and navigating difficult situations more effectively.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and work collaboratively to support growth, insight, and self-acceptance.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness to help clients become more aware of their thoughts and emotions without judgment. This can help in reducing anxiety, improving emotional regulation, and staying grounded in the present moment.
Narrative
I use an integrative approach, drawing from different therapeutic methods based on each client’s unique needs. This allows for a flexible, personalized experience that supports meaningful and lasting change.
