In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. This is your space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. We’ll also talk about how I work and what you can expect from therapy, so you feel clear and confident moving forward. By the end of the session, we’ll start to identify goals and decide together on the best approach to support you. Think of this first meeting as a chance to explore whether we’re a good fit and to lay the groundwork for your healing and growth.

I’m great at making therapy feel like a team effort where you’re in charge and I’m just here to support you. I blend methods like CBT and Motivational Interviewing with a heavy focus on what you’re good at and what makes you tick. I’m all about creating a relaxed, no-judgment space where you can be yourself, tackle what’s on your mind, and build on your strengths. Whether it’s helping you change stuck thinking patterns or finding your own motivation to make changes, I’m here to help you figure it out in a way that feels right for you.

Together, we’ll develop skills and tools to change these patterns, helping you build healthier habits and improve your emotional well-being.

Motivational Interviewing

Change can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncertain. Using motivational interviewing, I’ll work with you to explore your own motivations and readiness for change in a compassionate way. This approach helps you find your own reasons and confidence to move forward at a pace that feels right.

You are the expert in your own life. I provide a warm, empathetic, and accepting environment where you can speak openly. This supportive space helps you gain insight and clarity, empowering you to explore your feelings and experiences authentically.
