כֹּ֣ל הַ֭נְּשָׁמָה תְּהַלֵּ֥ל יָ֗הּ הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), alumni/graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2002, 2004). Over the years, I’ve provided therapy and coaching to diverse populations, drawing from my background as a former coach, athlete, and ministry/chaplain to offer a grounded, relational, and purpose-driven approach to care. My style is empathetic, compassionate, and engaging — blending clinical expertise with coaching, accountability, and practical tools to meet clients where they are. I take a holistic approach to wellness, addressing mental, physical, and spiritual health, with a specialization in Faith-Based (Judeo - Christian) integration. Neurodivergent-friendly and committed to creating a respectful, supportive space for growth and healing, including for First Responders, those in Ministry, or dealing with Religious Trauma. Please read the full description before booking. Thank you for your consideration — I look forward to the possibility of working together.
During our Initial Consultation, we typically cover the confidentiality policy, scheduling policies, followed by a discussion of therapy goals, to delve into the client's concerns. From here, we will discuss the Holistic model, to gain insight into my approach, ensuring alignment with their needs. Together, we'll assess if it's a "good fit." IF so, scheduling is encouraged and a homework assignment given, before offering a closing prayer out the door. *Please be sure to review my profile and description carefully before scheduling an initial consultation to confirm awareness of services and services offered.
The holistic approach empowers clients to pursue optimal mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. As a provider, I collaborate with clients and meet them where they are on their journey to becoming healthier versions of themselves.
My therapeutic approach integrates faith-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a holistic, whole-person framework, helping clients cultivate renewal in mind, body, and spirit. While rooted in evidence-based practice, I draw upon experiential, somatic, and spiritual elements to promote genuine transformation and balance. Clients are supported through structured CBT tools, reflective assignments, and practical coaching to deepen awareness and sustain growth between sessions. Compassion, accountability, and authenticity form the foundation of our work together — empowering clients to uncover their true identity, align with their values, and walk in greater peace and purpose.

Nathan is a really funny guy. He makes the situation not seem so hard and helps you understand it. He also makes you feel comfortable and helps guide you in the process of getting better. I also like that he does prayer, leads it, and then next session asks if you’ll want to do it.

I've had two sessions with Nathan thus far. (I needed two to make my own evaluation of whether he was the right choice for me) I love his holistic solution-based approach. I've tried many things, but his perspective, combined with Biblical truth, is encouraging and hopeful to me. While it's only been two sessions thus far, this is already a blessing to me and is helping me start on the right path to becoming who God intended me to be.
