I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years, both in private practice and state agency. Using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions, I have helped several individuals improve their life style, by focusing on the person and on addressing behaviors and negative thoughts that impact certain areas of their lives. Combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Treatment, I help individuals heal and find balance in their lives. I strive to be sensitive to cultural differences and I provide therapy for both English and Spanish speaking clients. My practice focuses on the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health conditions that affect mood, thinking, and behavior. It also focuses in addressing stressors on the mental health of LGBTQI+ individuals and those with relationship problems, motivation, self-esteem, and difficulties with confidence.
