Hi, I'm Lindsey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker in California with 7 years of experience working with individuals of all ages. My training has been focused on clients with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs that are also struggling with relationships, mental health, and/or school related issues. I have also worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, bullying, self-esteem, learning disabilities and much more. I have significant experience providing therapy for caregivers and family members feeling overwhelmed and struggling to start each day. If you need help navigating through this life, I would love to walk through it with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Finding the right therapist can be a difficult task. You want to work with someone you connect with and feel comfortable being vulnerable with. At first, I will focus on getting to know you and creating a safe space for you to share. I will help you figure out your goals for therapy and we will work together to achieve them. Therapy can be hard as you work through the difficulties of your past and start to understand your emotions. In our sessions together, I will provide compassionate, empathetic listening and evidence-based techniques so that leave each session feeling heard and one step closer to your goals.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Everyone experiences life differently, which means treatment for every individual must be based on their own needs. I have experience with a variety of treatment modalities which include Christian Perspective Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Family Therapy, Strength Based Therapy and more! I will adapt my approach based on your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients have described me as warm, understanding, and empathetic. I have extensive knowledge about the resources in the Central Valley for those with disabilities, including the IEP process. I initially entered the field of social work to provide support for individuals with disabilities. My passion for this underserved community has since expanded through experience and training to include their overwhelmed caregivers and parents. I would love to provide faith based Christian counseling as well.
