"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." - Viktor E. Frankl What a journey life can be, it is an honor to be considered to guide you along the way. I am a Clinically Licensed Social Worker in the state of Michigan. For the past 10 years, I have been working with children, adolescents, young adults and teenagers to address some of the following: anxiety, avoidance, depression, developing coping skills, sleep hygiene and providing interventions for ADHD. During our sessions together, we will work together on achieving obtainable goals in the areas you’d like to work on, whether it is in the home, school or other settings. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as; Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy , Behavioral therapy or Person-Focused therapy to work on the goals we set. This is your journey and the goal is to make sure this is a safe, productive, and positive experience for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During their first session, we will focus on getting to know one another so we can build that trust and rapport as we move further along in our time together. We will talk about their expectations of me, and we will create norms in how we conduct ourselves. My goal is make sure you leave feeling that you have someone you know will listen and advocate on your behalf.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am calm, honest, non-judgmental and have a jovial sense of humor. I make sure to acknowledge where you are at.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my day to day practice, I address goals and objectives, using evidence-based techniques to meet my clients where they are at. The client leads the way, and using CBT, we create steps together to ensure, we are working towards the goals established within the therapeutic setting.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Sometimes we just need to talk things out, but what do we do with that? With DBT, we will work on establishing what goals we want out of therapy, from there, we then will talk about challenges you've faced and how to build solutions around them.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Using this approach the client will lead the way, from where they are at, from there, we will work together to make sure that the client is experiencing the empathetic approach they need in order to build trust.
