Welcome. First I would like to recognize your strength and courage to seek out mental health support. Life can be challenging to manage. And oftentimes, the toughest part is deciding to reach out for support. I believe the most important aspect of treatment is that clients feel heard, treated with respect, and actively involved in the healing process. Everyone has their own journey. Whether it’s an acute or chronic mental health concern, I use a person-centered approach to empower clients to regain power and stability in their lives. If you need a safe space to unpack how stress impacts your mental health, together we can work on improving interpersonal skills, reducing symptoms, and developing coping skills to deal with life's challenges.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to provide a safe environment in which clients can share their experiences and fully explore their unique challenges. Through non-judgment, curiosity, and dignity, I hope to foster a therapeutic relationship that will lead to renewed insights and progress toward your identified goals. In doing so, we will discuss developing coping skills and resiliencies to reduce symptoms and increase life satisfaction. Occasionally, I will ask clients to engage in homework between sessions to reinforce the work that we do together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Currently, I am only taking adults seeking individual therapy services for anger management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work issues, issues with life adjustments, parenting, and stress management.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT to help clients challenge instrusive thoughts of worry and anxiety as well as manage negative emotions. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to develop skills and strategies to change your thinking patterns and elevate you mood.
