I like to help people understand why they are stuck and help them get unstuck. It's my goal to help people by being a witness to their pain and shining a light to help them move forward.

I am a therapist who specializes in substance use disorders, borderline personality disorder, and trauma. I also have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I believe every client is an expert of their own story and mg role is to assist clients with understanding and making sense of their narratives. I hope to empower clients on their journeys toward honoring their authenticity and joy by creating a brave space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My name is Maranda Houser, MSW, LCSW located in Indiana. I received my Master's Degree from Indiana University and have 6 years post masters experience in counseling and hospice work. I consider my self to be a generalist practitioner. I have experience with all age ranges dealing with a wide variety of issues from eaiting disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, bi-polar, trauma, abuse, and nurtion to support optimal mental health.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical hypnotherapist specializing in life success for all ages. The more you look into the darkness, the lighter it becomes. This is my life statement. I have seen the darkest times, and the worst of times, and have experienced personal failures in life. When I speak with clients it is from a place of empathy, understanding, compassion, and non-judgment. No one promised this life of ours would be easy, but I can promise to serve you as you work towards healing yourself.
