Welcome-- If you are looking for someone to help you make a change in your life, I applaud you for taking the first step! Reaching out to someone else can be difficult, but having someone to listen, to help you clarify your thoughts, and to hold you accountable can be the key to making satisfying changes in your life. I’m offering to be that person for you. Whether you are facing life challenges, struggling with self-defeating habits, or trying to overcome issues from your past, I’m ready to be your ally. I have helped people solve problems and make positive changes for twenty years. I have a master’s degree in counseling and lots of experience facing life’s challenges. I am also certified as a Master Addiction Counselor. Addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and adjusting to change are some of the issues we can work on together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will involve me asking a lot of questions about you and the reasons you're interested in starting (or continuing) therapy. I'll be happy to answer your questions, too. Then we will discuss your goals for therapy, and I will describe therapeutic approaches that may be helpful. Then, together, we will develop a plan for treatment.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach, but I’m familiar with a variety of proven therapies, so we can find what feels comfortable for you. I’m experienced in motivational interviewing, DBT, and trauma-informed therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is helping clients discover the deeper issues that underlie negative emotions and perceptions and find new ways of thinking about them.
