I get it, depression and trauma can leave us feeling defeated and without hope. But there is hope and time after time I have seen my clients find that hope and find new purpose in their lives.

I believe in the power of growth , change and the ability to overcome. I have experience in working with substance abuse concerns, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, domestic violence and PTSD. I believe that we have God given tools to fight and move forward in our lives and truly heal from the hurts from our past and can build a future to look forward to. I I have been in practice as a licensed psychologist for over 23 years and have worked in a variety of settings with diverse clientele. I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of Missouri at Kansas City Counseling and Testing Center, working with students and faculty providing individual, couples, and group therapy. I also engaged in outreach activities to promote mental health awareness in the university community. During my postdoctoral internship at Miami County Mental Health Center, I treated children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a wide range of issues and challenges. I enjoyed working with clients of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and community backgrounds.
