I completed all of my formal education from The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), included a bachelors degree in Bio-Behavioral Health, a masters degree in Counselor Education/Psychiatric Rehabilitation, and a doctoral degree in Adult Education. My doctoral dissertation pertained to substance used disorders and spiritual development amongst human service professionals. I began working in clinical practice in 2002; since that time I have worked in various settings including: State Vocational Rehabilitation, outpatient practice, psychiatric hospitals, detox centers, and educational institutions.
