I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and I have been working with clients who have experienced trauma and other challenges for almost 5 years. I completed my Master's program through Fordham University and love to bring my social work background to therapy in order to fully support my clients as whole people. I support those on a healing journey to create the most fulfilling, healthy life possible.

I pursued my career because it gives me a sense of purpose to help people find joy in life again, or sometimes for the first time.

I beleive that each stage of life is a transition and that each human struggles in this process. I beleive this can show itself through anxiety , depression , confusion and more. This is why I choose an integrated approach in treatment. My love for treating the whole self, led me to using a multitude of sensory interventions, art , play, horticulture and experiential therapies in my practice. I believe there is no one intervention or modality that is best suited for one population but that each session is tailored to specific needs. I use a positive Psychology approach that allows me to focus on the flourishing of human nature. I beleive each person has an abundance of strengths and I want to help you identify them. I love working with substance use and offender populations and love to see people expand their minds and come back to life and start really living. However my experience is with high acuity clientele. therefore, I I have knowledge and skills in almost every area.

Her path to becoming a therapist was influenced by personal trauma, leading her to create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients. She specializes in immigration evaluations, high-conflict custody cases, and therapeutic support for adult sex workers, and sex trafficking survivors. Dr. Monique continues to learn and grow professionally through continuing education courses and regular collaboration with other providers.
