Hello, I'm Jess. I am an independently licensed clinician with 6 years experience. I am a lover of animals, reading fantasy novels, and doing art. Every individual person experience life in different way. The way we are raised, the way we are taught how to behave, and how we experience it. This is what makes every one of us unique. My focus as your therapist is to help you with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem trauma history, abuse/neglect, interpersonal effectiveness, and parenting/relationship issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start by getting to know one another. It is important as your therapist to build connection and trust. I will ask questions regarding what emotional safety might mean to you, how you process information, and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. We will decide together what approach will work best for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I would say as a therapist my greatest strength is: The ability to create a space free of shame and judgment and meet you where you are.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Jessica specializes in working with individuals in the areas of anxiety/depression, relationship conflict/attachment, ADHD, and the lasting impact of childhood trauma. Her focus as your therapist is to foster a safe accepting space to explore your triggers, thoughts, and feelings.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

My goal as an attachment-based therapist is to empower clients to cultivate more fulfilling and satisfying relationships, both with themselves and with others. By addressing the root causes of their emotional struggles and relational challenges, I aim to help clients create lasting change and achieve greater overall well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work closely with clients to understand their specific concerns, challenges, and goals. Together, we explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, recognizing that these three aspects of experience are intimately linked. Using a structured and systematic approach, I help clients identify and challenge negative or distorted thinking patterns, such as catastrophizing, black-and-white thinking, and self-criticism.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

As a dialectical behavior therapist, I approach my work with a deep commitment to helping clients build a life worth living, even in the face of intense emotions and challenging circumstances. Drawing from the principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I provide a structured yet compassionate framework for clients to develop essential skills for emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.I work closely with clients to understand their specific concerns, challenges, and goals. Internal Family Systems (IFS)

As a therapist that uses inner child in the therapy setting, I bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to my work, grounded in the understanding that our early relationships, and experiences profoundly influence our emotional and relational patterns. With a focus on creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, I aim to help clients explore their attachment history, identify patterns of behavior, and cultivate healthier ways of relating to themselves and others while creating an authentic self outside of shame.

Trauma Informed Care

As a trauma-informed therapist, I approach my work with a deep understanding of the pervasive impact that trauma can have on individuals' lives. I recognize that trauma can manifest in many forms, including physical, emotional, and psychological, and I am committed to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace.
