I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adult clients to improve anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and self-worth. I have a background working with anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety, OCD, Social Anxiety, Agoraphobia, Specific Phobias, as well as Depression, workplace stress, and Adjustment Disorder. I use various therapeutic modalities to support my clients in making positive life changes and improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session we will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you can expect from therapy and what you can expect from me as your therapist. We will also complete a psychosocial assessment that gives me a better understanding of your past and current state of being. We will get to know each other and set your individual goals within the time you spend in therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I believe my greatest strength is cultural humility, which allows me to hold a nonjudgmental environment while growing my clients as sole individual. I also consider my ability to empathize and sympathize with my clients as a great quality and strength.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I work with adults 18 and older. I have experience with all races and ethnicities, elder, and LGBTQ+.
