I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) based in California, offering INDIVIDUAL tele-health and in person therapy for adults and teens. If you're dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, grief, family or relationship issues, or navigating a difficult life transition, I'm here to listen and provide support. At this time I am not working with couples.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am an empathetic listener and can provide non-judgmental feedback for my clients to facilitate the change they wish to create for themselves. We all strive for balance, order, and greater self-understanding in our lives. I work to promote understanding of distorted and unhelpful thoughts, allowing clients to respond to challenging life situations in effective ways.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with individuals from all backgrounds to help them acquire new skills and overcome obstacles that may be impacting their satisfaction with life. If you're seeking positive changes and yearning for a connection with your former self, therapy can be a valuable tool for unraveling the mind and nurturing the heart. At this time I am not working with couples.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

The theoretical approach I use is based in Attachment Theory. This theory is used to help clients understand how attachment style influences thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your behavior patterns, which may help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. My practice and therapy style is client centered. Based on the needs of the client, I draw from a flexible blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt, individual emotion focused therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative, and psychoanalytic, with practices of mindfulness, an emphasis on strengths, along with warmth, relatability, and humor.
