My name is Savanah Stiles, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 11 years’ experience in providing individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents, children, adults, and families. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Sand Tray Therapy, Triple P Parenting Model, Active Parenting, and The Matrix Model. I have a variety of experiences as a therapist. I have worked in outpatient therapy, teletherapy, home based therapy, intensive residential treatment, crisis response, inpatient hospital, and in an administrative/director role. I obtained my master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in 2010. I have continued to attend trainings over the last 13 years to better expand my knowledge and skillset and plan to continue doing so for the duration of my career.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I have a very direct yet empathetic approach in the therapeutic setting. It is my goal to meet all clients where they are and to assist them in getting where they wish to be. I believe we are all capable of change and everyone deserves a positive outlet to share their thoughts and feelings without judgement or fear.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Sand Tray Therapy, Triple P Parenting Model, Active Parenting, and The Matrix Model (for substance abuse).

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe in tailoring therapy to my clients needs. In my opinion, regardless of treatment needs, the approach in which therapeutic techniques are delivered is most important to patient success. I would describe myself as an optimist, but also a realist. I believe in a holistic approach. I am empathetic and a good listener. I strive to make my patients feel comfortable in session.
