I have been a therapist for the past 9 years, and during that time I have had significant experience working with individuals who have experienced sexual and physical abuse in their lifetime. I am Certified in utilizing Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) with adult clients and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with children and adolescents, both addressing PTSD symptoms. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, and a National Certified Counselor located in Pennsylvania. I grew up immersed in more than one culture. I consider myself to have a strong cross-cultural understanding, and can relate to individuals who come from multiple cultures and backgrounds. My approach to counseling is always to get to know the individual first, understand their goals for counseling, and work with them as a team to help them get to where they desire to be in their life.
