In 2020, I earned my Doctorate in Social Work from Capella University. I have been a practicing clinician for over ten years and believe in building rapport with clients and meeting them where they are. “Come as you are, I will meet you there, and we will figure it out together” is something I often tell my clients, especially those nervous about the therapeutic process. I intentionally create a safe space to ensure my clients are at ease and comfortable in vulnerable moments. I am trained in a myriad of treatment modalities, I am a subject matter expert in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Chatham, a clinical social worker with over ten years of experience working in various settings, including community mental health, acute psychiatric care, and veteran affairs. I am dedicated to serving a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and those facing significant life transitions. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Positive Psychology, tailored to meet each client's unique needs. I aim to empower my clients to overcome their challenges, build resilience, and achieve their personal and emotional well-being goals.

Welcome! I am Carylee Eaton, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Minnesota but also licensed in Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia and Florida. I have been providing clinical social work for 35 years in various settings including a residential alcohol/drug facility, outpatient mental health clinics, providing case management for insurance companies, working on medical/surgical units in local hospitals and working virtually in private practice.

I am originally from Northern Virginia but have lived in the Tidewater area for 25 years. I completed my undergraduate degree at Old Dominion University with a BS in Psychology. I attended University of Southern California for a master’s degree in Social Work. I am dually licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I have approximately twenty years of social work experience in various avenues. I specialize in trauma, crisis management, domestic violence, anxiety, depression and substance abuse. I know there is not one approach for everyone, so I will work with my patients to find a treatment modality that they are comfortable with. I fully believe that everyone can achieve the quality of life that they desire; it is my desire and passion to help them achieve that.
