Hello and welcome to Grow Therapy! My name is Jennifer. I have both Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Counseling, with a specialization in Couples and Family. After many years of therapy practice, I went back to school and, in 2019, graduated with a BSN in Nursing. I’ve worked as a licensed therapist in North Carolina for 17 years. I work frequently with difficult relationship dynamics whether in families or among romantic partners. I do quite a bit of work in trauma recovery, anxiety and stress reduction, resiliency-building, and identity development. Mine is a holistic, positive, supportive approach that promotes self-awareness and the interruption of unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior that lead to being "stuck". I teach mindfulness, yogic interventions and encourage gratitude and curiosity in my clients! In my spare time I enjoy hiking, dancing on my roller skates, beekeeping and chasing my dog and kids!
