I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.

Welcome! My name is Evan Miller and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist in the state of Pennsylvania. The goal of therapy is to facilitate personal growth and help you improve your life. I believe there is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy, so this can take many shapes and forms depending on your needs. Whether you're looking to build self-awareness, strengthen your relationships, change your unwanted habits, better manage your stress or just feel better emotionally - I am here to help! I consider the therapeutic relationship to be fundamental to all forms of good therapy, so I continually strive to create an environment that is supportive, safe, authentic, comfortable and non-judgmental. While I have specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (M.I.) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, I utilize a person-centered and integrative approach that also incorporates elements of attachment theory, existential-humanistic theory and harm reduction philosophy.

I believe every one has their own unique potential in overcoming adversity. Life is not easy and often times we need support and someone to listen to our fears, hopes, dreams. We sometimes, need a nudge in a certain direction that we can't clearly see. I can help provide that nudge with whatever your are struggling with and provide insight on how to get there. I also do life coaching. Life coaching is different than therapy in that you may need guidance but not have a psychological disorder.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience helping people, mostly adults. I love helping people. It is such a privilege to participate in your care. I am the 'original' judgement free zone (before that other company chose that phrase; you know the one). I am a mid-westerner, and bring my midwestern sensibilities to my approach. Our relationship is collaborative and supportive. I encourage you to be an active participant in understanding yourself better from the inside out, your triggers, strengths, and past successes; to develop and strengthen your inner resources; I am creative in my thinking, and encourage you to consider the same: reading books, creating affirmations, drawing, etc.. Patience is required (of which I have much), while I serve as a container for unpacking and exploring your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and life experiences which are interfering with your growth. I do not choose your goals or make decisions for you as I cannot live your life for you. When I am not working, I enjoy knitting. "We do not harvest our inner crop on the same day we plant the seed"

Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Pennsylvania with over 14 years of experience in behavioral and mental health across various settings, including hospitals, daycares, schools, and outpatient facilities. I have a broad background in assisting clients of all ages and specialize in addressing issues related to ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, and trauma from domestic violence. My therapeutic approach is centered on tackling current issues with practical solutions that improve your well-being. It involves holding you accountable and providing the insights you need, rather than what you might want to hear. The evidence-based treatment modalities utilized are determined by my client's individual needs and personal goals. I appreciate research and utilize only evidence-based treatment modalities that have proven to be effective. I recognize that no textbook or degree can rival first-hand experience. Bearing in mind that I may not fully grasp my client's personal experiences, I excel at offering a professional and personable perspective, maintaining an open mind, and always remembering that my clients are the experts on their own lives. At times, the demands of daily life can be overwhelming, leading to feelings of defeat, exhaustion, and stress that impact one's relationships, job performance, self-esteem, and overall quality of life. If this resonates with you, be encouraged to know that you certainly are not alone. I am here and I am here to help.
