You want change but don't know where to start. You might be experiencing debilitating emotional, psychological, and/or physical pain. Or depression that leaves you feeling lost and alone. Maybe you have intense anxiety and fear that prevents you from connecting with those you love and that keeps you from feeling accomplished. Perhaps a slow eroding of your self-esteem has taken root and negatively impacting your abilities to see the wonder and awe in the world. If you are experiencing any of these feelings, emotions, or life challenges, please know that you are not alone. In collaboration we will heal the root of pain and create a path to your heart center where you are free of burdens and able to thrive. I am a skilled clinician who is authentic, intuitive, and focused. My counseling approach is individualized where I draw from current research in brain science, physiology of trauma, counseling, positive psychology, existential philosophy, and mind sight. I provide services in a culturally sensitive and trauma informed manner where you feel safe and capable to ignite your curiosity, where you will gain insight into your heart wisdom and intelligence, and where meaningful releases of painful body sensations and memories happens without being re-traumatized. Positive change is possible. I am here for you.

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) currently based and practicing in Oregon, though with an active license in California as well. I attended California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) for graduate school and lived in the Bay Area for a decade before moving to Portland, OR shortly before the pandemic. I have over thirteen years of experience as a "generalist" therapist, though I specialize in supporting individuals in the midst of life transitions, including but not limited to: relationship challenges, moves to a new city or state, new medical diagnoses, career and work problems, spiritual questioning, transitions into the workforce or retirement. While I consider the psychological theories behind my work, I hold them lightly in the room, believing most fundamentally in the importance of an adaptive, culturally-sensitive, non-judgmental stance with my clients. PLEASE NOTE: your chosen intake appointment time is subject to my final approval based on my shifting availability. I see clients on multiple platforms and am unable to sync all of my calendars in real time. Following the initial appointment, we will find a mutually agreeable meeting time and I will manage the booking on the Grow platform going forward, including rescheduling and cancellations. You will need to message me directly to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I request the courtesy of as much advanced notice as possible. I am not able to work with clients who cancel without 24 hrs advanced notice or no show more than twice.

I have learned that I am not for everyone and everyone is not for me. I am a whole vibe professionally speaking. Therapy is a journey one in which the client is in the drivers seat and the therapist is in the passenger seat, shotgun! When you come to therapy its like showing up in some type of vehicle I will gladly get in and help navigate throughout the ride. Once the ride ends I get out and say goodbye until next time. Oh and I make sure during the ride you don't run us off the road ;).

Hey there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have been working in this capacity for approximately five years. The most important piece for effective therapy is a strong and supportive bond between you and your therapist. With a securely established bond some amazing things happen in terms of change and personal growth. Working with me is less like labor, and more like walking closer to the warmth of a campfire. Things do not necessarily get easier, but the hope as that you feel like you are getting warmer, or closer to what feels authentic to you and your values. It also doesn't hurt to have a potentially unbiased partner along for the journey.
