Hello I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have been licensed in the state of Ohio for 6 years. I am an active duty Air Force Veteran and served during the Gulf War. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University Washington, D.C. campus. While I diagnose and treat most mental health disorders I specialize in grief and bereavement and certified as a grief recovery specialist. I also provide individual counseling to adults who are seeking help with life choices, decision making and personal difficulties.

For more than a decade I have been counseling clients with a variety of mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual health struggles from a wide spectrum of personalities and life experiences. Each counseling experience brings challenges and victories. I consider it an honor and privilege to come alongside individuals or couples in need- to help in the healing process through processing trauma, identifying and replacing harmful and self-sabotaging patterns of behavior with restorative ones, providing mediation and advocacy, and offering compassion and accountability. I grew up in Ohio, but now live on a 17 acre homestead in the Ozarks with my wife of 17 years and our 6 children. My personal interests range from video games to lumberjacking. I have enjoyed the time and opportunity to work remotely and start a new chapter in my life with my family figuring out the homesteading chaos.

I have over twenty five years of social work experience, most of my years of experience are in a clinical setting combined with both clinical and supervisory and administrative duties. I have successfully completed both a Bachelor in Social Work and a Master in Social Work from Rutgers University, specializing in direct practice with children and families and a MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University with a focus on healthcare.

Hi. I am an LISW in Ohio and LCSW in North Carolina and received my degree from the University of Southern California. I am a USMC veteran and am also married to an active duty service member. Much of my background is in crisis work and short-term therapy models. I love to focus on ways in which one can make adjustments to their routine and add in healthy coping skills in order to better improve their overall functioning. Solution-focused therapy is what I base most of my treatment on and the goal is for you to feel better and be able to function without support of me!
