Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 23 years of experience in a community-based setting. I have 1-2 years experience in a private practice setting and my scope of practice includes expertise in depression anxiety trauma family conflict and ADHD. It also includes expertise in couples counseling, grief and loss, forgiveness therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness relaxation and guided imagery.

I help clients reach the goals they value. This often includes taking time to connect to what feels important to you, even if you’ve ‘lost’ certain good parts of yourself or things you used to enjoy. Whether it's self-care, relationships, or changing situations that have led to depression, anxiety, ‘bad habits,’ or feeling ‘stuck,’ we can take steps to build a good life. Samantha Fooce has been working in the human services field since 1999. Her first position as an unlicensed (paraprofessional) “Crisis Counselor” was working midnight shift in 1999-2001 at Pathways Inc’s Crisis Center in Ashland, Ky. Since that time, she has had experience working as a Child Protective Services Case Manager, Crime Victim’s Advocate, Therapeutic Program Worker, School-Based Counselor, Chemical Dependency Counselor and as a Clinical Director prior to opening her own office in 2019. She received her first license in counseling in 2007 in the state of Ohio and later became licensed in WV.
