I am a BIPOC Therapist and try to create a safe and culturally sensitive space for BIPOC individuals to address their mental health challenges, heal from their trauma, and navigate the complexities of their lived experiences. I am also an LGBTQIA+ ally and try to create an affirming and safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals. I work with adult individuals who have a history of childhood trauma, neglect, and/or abuse in an effort to help them start to understand and process their experiences and begin to heal. I also work with mother/daughter family units to explore and process relationship disruptions in an effort to heal any lingering hurts and hopefully repair the relationship. With couples, I work on helping them improve their communication in an effort to increase their effective communication skills and decrease any miscommunications that lead to arguments.
