My name is Nichole Epperson, but I go by Nicki. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana and the owner of Transcendence, LLC. I have over 8 years of experience providing mental health services to individuals and families struggling with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric symptoms. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2015 then went on to obtain my Master's Degree in the field of Social Work at the University of Southern Indiana.
I have gained experience in the field by networking with numerous community outreach programs and other community mental health programs. With this being said, I have also become gravely aware of the mental health crisis affecting our community.
The goal of Transcendence, LLC is to help combat this crisis and help those in our community rise above these obstacles by providing specialized therapeutic services with the understanding that you are the author to your own story, and your story is not over yet!

I have been working with families and teens in crisis for over 40 years and now though semi-retired I choose to use my skills to reach out through online therapy to support others. I come from a unique perspective that life is one of balance or imbalance. Balance is needed in our physical, emotional and spiritual lives and when out of balance life is just not right, we know it and sense it. Three main areas of imbalance are areas of power, perspective and pain. If you are powerless, your reality is off and can't think with clarity, if filtered through trauma one is left not knowing which area to begin "fixing things" and one feels overwhelmed not knowing how to grow or change. When balance is returned, trauma is on the road to healing, the mind is clear and empowerment comes, life is good and peace returns.
I count myself a "theological therapist" or a "therapeutic theologian" as some things have to go deep to the soul level to heal and sometimes we need to realize some of our greatest pain comes from our greatest growth and it comes not from figuring things out at the head level, nor standing up for ourselves in an instant but from doing the deep soul work that leaves one finding joy again and resting in a peace that passes all understanding.
I learned much of life and therapy on the front porches of the little town I was raised in and the little church on the corner that helped raise me. Of interest, I live on a mountain in South Carolina with my wife and four dogs. Licensed in Indiana since 1993.

Life can be so challenging, and sometimes we can seem to lose our way – getting lost in the spinning, the confusion, the uncertainty. Emotions can feel like they spiral or swing so rapidly that it can feel difficult to find stable ground, let alone direction for our lives.
Maybe you have experienced this – that shift between anxiety & depression & irritability – that sense of feeling lost or struggling to see a way forward in your life.
Working with adults and seniors over the past 15 years, in inpatient settings, intensive outpatient treatment, and individual therapy, I am an empathetic ear and a believer that growth and change are always possible, no matter how lost we may feel.

Hi, I'm Britta Neinast, a licensed clinical social worker. I have years of professional and personal experience understanding women and women's struggles.
Women are crippled with anxiety and self-doubt; we feel misunderstood and alone. I believe the reason this is happening is we're not getting to the root of the problem.
There's nothing more beautiful than a woman who knows who she is, what she wants, and how to ask for it but it's hard to find your voice in a world that wants to keep you silent. I have helped hundreds of women discover their beauty and find their voices.

Biography: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I facilitate the spiritual, mental and emotional healing process through talk therapy. The focus of most of my adult life has been to be a skilled helper to people in need. As I moved through my theological training, I realized that, often, others needed deeper support than "church" alone could give. I pursued further education to become a clinical counselor to meet those needs.
I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including, outpatient community mental health, inpatient/outpatient substance abuse/addiction, sex offender therapy in the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, mental health professional in the Florida Department of Corrections, inpatient and day treatment of chronically mentally ill, and private practice.
I believe my gift, in the counseling relationship, is that I help others see things for themselves. I also have a Christian world view which informs my interaction with others. I am a compassionate, non judgmental, "Wounded healer". Yes, I have had to negotiate life's struggles like anyone else. So, it is not just an academic exercise with me. I offer compassionate support while we work through your mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, fear, grief, loss, codependency, and self esteem issues.

Hello, I'm Dr. Walters, a licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Ready to make some changes? Let's work together to get you on the path to managing mental health concerns, and recovery from substance use disorders.
Over the past 26 years I've helped folks - probably much like yourself - develop the skills to get sober and maintain recovery from drugs and alcohol and manage co-occurring mental health concerns. I've had the opportunity to assist adults of all ages, races, cultures, religious/spiritual backgrounds, and many within the LBTQ+ community to create the foundation needed to manage their mental health and finally stop using drugs and alcohol.
Are you concerned mental health symptoms such as depression or anxiety contribute to your substance use? It's quite common. We can talk about that as well and discuss strategies to help you manage symptoms and heal.
If substance use is not a concern, but you are looking for help with anxiety, depression, or trauma- I can help get you on the path to being balanced and healthy.
I look forward to meeting you.

Are you caught up in unhealthy patterns? Do you want your life to change, but are unsure how to make that happen?
We all experience life in our own way. Our thoughts, feelings, and expectations can be so overwhelming that they become obstacles to making decisions and living our lives to the fullest. If you are experiencing one of life’s unexpected challenges and would like to explore your thoughts and feelings in a private, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to help increase your awareness and ability to work through challenges, I am here for you.

I have experience working in a wide array of settings including, addictions, out-patient care, in-patient psychiatric care, and integrated behavioral healthcare. Throughout my experience, I found my passion in working with individuals and relationships in a personalized therapeutic setting. I love to help clients work on the issues most important to them and to talk about those things that you may not be able to with anyone else. Everything is on the table with me, because it is all YOU!

I want to work with you if you struggle with anxious attachement, people pleasing, setting boundaries, feeling triggered, anger, anxiety, depression, co-deprendance, parenting issues, and ADD/ ADHD. These symptoms and attacheement style are often related to each other and often related to similar childhood experiences of inconsitancy with caregivers or abusive/engelctful caregivers. (ADD and ADHD is not cause by caregivers, however, when it goes undaignosed in children, there is s strong correlation to symptoms described above)

Congratulations on seeking therapy! Most people who seek therapy or counseling report that they experience an improvement in mood and anxiety. I have also found this to be the case after many years of service. I believe I am easy to talk to and approachable. Therapists are very good listeners and will be honest with you, rather than just agreeing with you or dismissing your opinions. If you see me and we establish a plan, you will be in the driver's seat and will determine how much you need and for how long. Since most of what I am doing involves Telehealth, I ask that you cancel ahead of time if you cannot meet per schedule. I will do this as well.
As your therapist, I will:
Respect your privacy
Respect your schedule
Respect your opinions and values
Respect the severity and urgency of your difficulties
Make myself available when you need assistance
Help you find answers and solutions rather than excuses and being “stuck"
