Welcome, I am Feven! Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage anxiety, depression and burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach; addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.  I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’ Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, trauma, PTSD, self-acceptance, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, empathy and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Atlanta, GA who works with adult individuals. I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds, identities and life experiences and am particularly passionate about supporting those who have been impacted by criminal legal systems. I frequently see clients for the following concerns: • Anxiety, Depression, and mood concerns • Relationship and communication challenges • Processing and coping with major transitions • Support for those in helping professions • Grief & loss • Self-esteem & body image concerns • Addiction recovery & support • Gender dysphoria and gender transition support • Trauma (acute, chronic, complex, and historical) • Trauma & grief specific to legal system involvement Building authentic, compassionate connections is central to my therapeutic approach. I will engage you as a partner in the therapeutic process, tapping into your unique strengths as we process your emotions and patterns together. I will apply a multitude of evidence-based practices during our sessions in order to provide a truly individualized and person-centered experience. Some modalities I frequently use include: CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and somatic therapy techniques. I am also in the process of obtaining EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) and WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) certifications. Before working with clients privately, I practiced as a mental health clinician in jail and prison settings, as well as within court systems and a pre-arrest diversion program. I remain passionately involved in legal system reform and abolition work and feel that my responsibilities and ethical obligations as a social worker extend well beyond the therapeutic relationship, to also include such social justice policy advocacy and community organizing efforts. Due to their overrepresentation within legal systems, I have had the honor of working with many clients who identify as transgender or gender non-conforming. I welcome clientele of all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities and religions, and remain committed to actively seeking out education and opportunities for growth concerning anti-racist and anti-oppressive therapeutic practices. I seek to maintain a practice in which people of all identities do not simply feel tolerated, but feel deeply understood, accepted, and nurtured.
