Hello, I'm Dr. Ellinor Burke and I'm a psychologist licensed in the state of Georgia. I've been in practice for more than 20 years and I've struggled with some of the same issues many of you do. I have developed effective treatments for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because I have dealt with this disorder myself. If you're looking for an effective treatment I have one. Many of us are worriers and have anxiety related to this. Anxiety can have a draining effect on your life but it is treatable. .I use cognitive and behavioral therapy combined with supportive therapy to help you get to that positive place in your life. If you're dealing with depression I'm also here to help by looking at how your thoughts feelings and behaviors influence each other and how we can work together to deal with these issues. I see patients with varying issues and from many age groups. All in all a diverse population.
I was a school psychologist for more than ten years and I do educational assessments as well as therapy for adolescents. I find teenagers are some of the most challenging and rewarding to work with.
My work is very emotionally rewarding which is why I've been in practice for so many years. I'm now considering expanding my practice to a hybrid practice which will include seeing clients both remotely and in my office. Therapy begins with me getting to know you and for you to feel comfortable with me. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment because therapy works when we have a positive connection which I hope we will have.

I’m a dedicated, fully-licensed and board certified professional counselor who’s passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to wellness. I use "talk therapies" to provide therapeutic support, guidance, clinical insight / education, and advocacy for those I serve.

A doctoral degree in Counseling is in progress…We’re in the home stretch!!
A little about me: I am a native of northeast Georgia. I’m a mother of three (18, 15 – special needs, 9) and four fur-babies (cats): Hermione, Belatrix, Draco, and Percy. Sense a Harry Potter theme here? I’m huge fan of Magic the Gathering, all things Disney, Marvel/MCU, Supernatural, The Boys, and penguins (because I believe them to be the cutest, silliest of all creatures)! I enjoy time with family and friends, spending time at the gym focusing on improving my own strength and endurance, graphic design, walking around aimlessly in bookstores, attending conventions, and spreading positive light as best I can.

Many of her clients have found great success in their careers, but struggle to feel connected in their relationships or at peace in their daily lives. Jayne' is particularly sensitive to clients struggling in leadership roles and those facing the after-effects of unresolved trauma on their relationships.
It is amazing to have dedicated time just for yourself to talk about you, or anything of your choosing, in a non-judgmental space. It is ok to be selfish in a way that allows you to explore, process and heal with support throughout your journey. Therapy may seem scary, but therapy with me is warm, enlightening and collaborative with a mix of a reasonable amount of challenge to help make changes where you feel they are needed. While therapy is a process, you have support throughout your journey to a path of a renewed life.
Allow me to join you on your budding journey as you blossom and begin experiencing relief!

Congratulations on taking the next step! My goal is to help guide you in taking each next step in achieving your goals.
My skills lie not only in helping you grow individually, but understanding how you exist in the systems within your life.
