Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the University of Central Florida and have been practicing for 11 years. I help young adults struggling with anxiety and mood concerns while adapting to daily life stressors or changes. I’m also licensed and able to work with those in the states of Arizona and Louisiana.

I am a Mental Health Counselor licensed in Florida and Utah I started practicing with the Sever and Persistent population. Ranging from individuals suffering from Schizophrenia to Bi-Polar disorder. I have a vast experience in the substance abuse field. I have worked on the reservation for the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians as a Substance Abuse Counselor and then transitioned into the Program Coordinator. I worked with the Tribe for about four years. I then transitioned into working with individuals via tele-health. I found myself to enjoy working with individuals virtually as it provided the flexibility of times and locations. As a tele-health provider I worked closely with individuals struggling with substance use, anxiety, and depression. I enjoy working with all age ranges and look forward to work with you!

Hello! Does it seem overwhelming and maybe a little bit odd to be searching for a therapist? I get it! Please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Sonja (rhymes with "lasagna"). I enjoyed working with children and their families for 15 years, and then I transitioned to the medical field, where I was blessed to continue my growth within a variety of settings. My husband and I have one spoiled dog, Bo, a boxer-hound mix, who brings lots of laughs to our home. My specialties include working with a variety of age ranges, from teens to senior adults. I can help people who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety and/or depression find ways to cope. Those who are struggling with adoption issues may need extra support and assistance as they sort through their feelings. Caregivers who are feeling overwhelmed with life can find a peaceful place to land during our sessions. I particularly enjoy providing Christian-based counseling, as that is an important part of who I am. I believe that laughing about life with my patients can help us explore together what may be on their hearts and minds.
