I am a therapist who helps individuals and couples work on psychological and relational issues to find ways to solve them and enrich their lives. I work with clients to develop a plan of action to learn ways to manage and resolve the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are holding them back from having a happy fulfilled life. I will help reframe thoughts to improve energy, self esteem and confidence so clients can be who they want to be. I have a specialty in trauma, especially related to childhood and attachment issues. I am certified in the technique of EMDR which releases and helps resolve intense feelings such as fear, anxiety, depression, fear or shame. I will work in sessions to build confidence and resilience to result in better energy and a positive outlook to improve daily functioning and holistic health.

Hello and welcome. My name is Dr. Michele Kapalcik or “Dr. Michele” for short. I am a licensed Counselor and Therapist in several states. I have worked with helping a multitude of clients with many disorders and personal backgrounds. In addition, I have a Ph.D in Addiction Psychology with over 25 years of sobriety myself. I am very familiar with all stages of addiction and am eager to help. I am a very kind hearted caring individual who takes pride in understanding the personal issues of others and applying personal treatment to meet their needs.
