Hello, I'm Shannon. In addition to being a Mental Health Provider, I am also a Nationally Certified Professional Mediator (NCPM). I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, teens, individuals, couples, and families from culturally diverse populations on a wide range of issues and concerns. My approach is collaborative. I believe that by working together, a positive outcome is achievable. I provide a warm, open, non-judgmental environment where one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are explored and discussed in an objective, respectful, empathetic manner. I am licensed in California, Colorado, and Texas. At this time, I only provide services virtually through a secure telehealth system. Four things I want you to know before you begin therapy with me: 1. I want treatment to work just as much as you do. 2. I am not judging you, and need to hear all of your truth(s) in order to best support you. You can't heal what you won't reveal. 3. I will not fight you for your healing. What that means is: I will not work harder than you do. However, I will be right there beside you as we navigate your Mental Health journey together. 4. If you don't connect with me, that's okay.
