Hi there, I'm Alicia. Are you feeling lost or stuck in some aspect of your life and finding it hard to move forward? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? With your permission, I help to hold the container for deeper exploration and healing. I am a trauma-based therapist trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I believe that each of us possesses an internal source of wisdom that can be cultivated through psychotherapy, psychedelic medicines, meditation practices, yoga and other connecting practices that link the brain, body and spirit. My therapeutic approach has a foundation of mindfulness and compassion, curiosity and respect. I often use EMDR as an evidence-based approach to working with trauma and other challenges. I am sensitive to the impact of one's social, physical and cultural environment as well as systems of oppression. Clients say my approach is warm, relational, collaborative, strengths-based and trauma-informed. I cannot do the work for you, but I can help you along the way, and it is truly an honor and a joy for me.

Welcome! I am a first-gen, bilingual LMFT (English/Spanish) based in the Los Angeles area. My work is rooted in empowering women who are called to heal generational patterns and traumas. I love working with first-gen Latinas and Xicanas who struggle with setting boundaries, communicating their needs, and experiencing difficult life transitions. I practice through a holistic person-centered lens that integrates ancestral knowledge and culture to assist in the healing of your mind, body, heart and spirit. I offer space for those who want to feel safe, seen, and heard so that you can be your authentic self. I also utilize EMDR therapy to help assist in processing events that are keeping you stuck. Once your first appointment is scheduled you will receive intake forms. All intake forms need to be completed 24 hours before your appointment date or your appointment will need to be rescheduled. *My practice is focused primarily on treating adults who identify as female as well as being a welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I do not currently treat cisgender heterosexual males, children or adolescents, and court mandated clients.

I mainly work with complex highly educated people interested in long term therapy who have significant life experience, aged 35 and over-- you realize self-improvement will take time and work. Most of my clients have developed serious and/or specialized interests in the arts or sciences, as I have. I'm a published personality researcher and former consulting psychologist for the California Dept of Mental Health, and have professional music composing and performance experience. I have wide and far-flung experience in many areas of the world, and worked in database design/programming for several F500 companies including Eli Lilly and Hertz I've been licensed 17 years, had a specialized training sequence in Jungian psychology, worked professionally in the human services, music and information technology industries and have lived over 60 years. If you want a therapist/analyst with knowledge that only comes from some talent combined with wide experience, I may be able to be of assistance. I have decades of clinical experience with people ranging from inmates in State prisons to scientifically brilliant individuals making progress in the areas of life-saving new medications. I've training in meditation (Zen, TM, Yoga, Tibetan), music, and endurance athletics. One central idea I love is "We can only fix the future." I like to help people move into a better one. But PLEASE see ground rules below. There are no exceptions. IMPORTANT NOTICES: 1) I have a Strict no-show/Late Cancellation policy. Cancellations less than 24 hours before appointments result in me billing a no-show fee. 2) All clients have a right to their notes from therapy for a "reasonable charge." ( State law) My fee is $20 per record. However any type of advocacy, for instance offering opinions on disability, involvement in lawsuits, and communication with agencies like Child Protective Services or your lawyers or the like is only handled in my independent private practice separate from GROW's intermediation. there is a sizeable retainer required before any discussion or work and my higher hourly fees are almost never covered by insurance.

I am a curious, authentic, and a very human therapist. I love working with people who want to do the work. I am here to provide a safe space that will foster vulnerability and growth. Therapy is so hard sometimes. I am here to make that pill a little easier to swallow. We fall into times where we feel stuck, don't have sufficient self-love, or just have ran out of hope. I am here to support you in getting unstuck, changing your perspective, increasing your self-love, and remind you that there is hope. Just because we don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, it doesn't mean it's not there. In the nature of being authentic: If you're looking for a "cookie-cutter therapist", I am not the one. If you are looking for heavy homework/worksheets, I am not the one. I am very human. At times, I cuss. Because, at times, life just fucking sucks. I am very open to feedback: I have the mental health portion of my job down, but you are the expert in you.

Welcome! My name is Albania Alegria and I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I identify as Latina and am bilingual in Spanish and English. I feel honored in supporting people to get unstuck and build their inner-healer inside them. The modalities I use require a slower pace where the client is an active participant inside and outside of sessions. We focus more on body-oriented practices, and minimal talking, so that your body gets a chance to heal in a slow and sustainable way (where talk-therapy can delay and sometimes not help with symptoms). I value co-creating, quality presence, respect, consciousness, radical responsibility, compassion, and warmth. ***Please note: Clients will be kindly referred out to specialized providers that do not align with the population I currently work with. I am NOT a good fit for historical or present conditions like: self-harm, risk of suicide, addiction of any kind, body dysmorphia/eating disorders history of current, personality disorders, depression, relationship violence, Perpetrator of violence or abuse (e.g child abuse, domestic violence, animal abuse, etc), and Personality Disorders. I will be doing a consultation with you when you book a session to make sure we are a good fit. Thank you!

Hello my name is Sandra Nunez, and I provide intuitive psychotherapy services to individual, children, couples, and families in need of counseling. People search for therapy for various reasons. Most often these reasons include feelings of sadness, experiencing difficulties adjusting to life changes, difficulties dealing with chronic physical pain, emotional pain, trauma, depression, anger, and anxieties. Perhaps you are trying to heal from a difficult relationship breakup, leaving you feeling sad and defeated. It could be that you are a part of a newly formed blended family, living together for the first time, and instead of joy you are experiencing chaos. You may be seeking help, because your spouse has received orders for yet another deployment with the military. Having to say goodbye once again, leaves you feeling frustrated, anxious and sad. Often people come to therapy due to grief and loss. People dealing with difficult life changes, may experience a range of negative emotions, from sadness, anxiety to anger. These feelings often manifest as stress, which may cause further strain in personal relationships or affect one’s quality of life. Guiding Hope Individual and Family Therapy in San Diego, California is a private online practice owned by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Behavioral Health, serving clients in the State of California and Colorado.

Hi, I’m Rachel! Do you ever wonder why your kids struggle so much in school, have a hard time making/keeping friends, or have a difficult time following the same daily routines that are expected of them every day? Have you received multiple evaluations of them, but still feel lost in how to parent them? I get it. I’m not only an Autism and ADHD Specialist for both kids and adults ages 5-65yo, but I’m also a mom of neurodivergent kiddos. I work with children/teens/adults with varying presentations, who almost always have some level of anxiety, depression, trauma etc. I’m here to help support you and focus on what matters most. I also work with children and teens who do not have neurodivergent brains, but rather may have behavioral difficulties at home/school; issues with school refusal, significant degrees of anxiety and/or depression, overuse of social media and struggle in their parent/child relationships. I provide both individual and family therapy and believe that rapport with my clients and understanding their personal goals is what will make the most progress. I also specialize in life transitions, assisting teens in moving toward independence and the next steps in young adulthood. This includes career counseling, which I provide to adults of all ages.

I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing. I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come. I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.

Please contact me via my website for further questions https://corazonconversations.com/contact/ Growing up as a first generation can be quite overwhelming because there is a lot of navigating that we are doing both personally and within our familias. There are many layers unique to our experiences. Our work together in therapy will embrace all the parts that make you, we will learn to navigate what your current struggles are, and you’ll become the expert of your own mind and body even more. You are not just going to cope with the struggles, you will have a deeper mind, body, and soul connection with yourself and will find courage, slowness, and embracement in your life y corazon. I help Black, Indigenous, Chicanx, Latinx people navigate first generation experiences, life transitions, physical and sexual trauma, generational and cultural differences (age, family roles, religion) and traumas. These sorts of life experiences can cause us anxiety, overwhelm, shame, self doubt, sadness, fears, and sometimes, even engaging in behaviors or relationships just to try and cope. I integrate ancestral knowledge and western knowledge in our work in order to reach a mind-body-emotion-spirit and soul connection. Let's break these cycles and change up the game for ourself and future generaciones.

Hi, I'm Dr. Holly Siegrist, and I am a psychologist licensed in California with 15 years of experience. I take a strength-based approach, and I work with clients on spirituality and meaning making, creativity, dream analysis, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress related to disability and other discrimination, grief, chronic illness, losses, and life change. My interests are in social justice, coping with discrimination, health and wellness, and resilience. My therapy style is warm and welcoming. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion, and providing a safe space to listen to clients. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology with Specialization in Existential, Humanistic, and Transpersonal Psychology from Saybrook University. I have always been interested in helping people, I enjoy hearing people’s stories, and I also find that in the therapeutic process I learn more about myself. Through my therapy journey I have gained much experience in working with diverse people. In addition, during my time at Saybrook University, I received training in spiritual approaches in therapy, and dream analysis and lucid dreaming therapy. I'm glad you are moving towards living a more fulfilling and happier life, and I am here to support you so you can empower yourself on your journey of transformation.

“It is better to travel well than to arrive.” – Buddha My name is Heidi Dryer and I obtained my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2015 but I have been practicing since 2012. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have extensive experience working with individuals from all walks of life. The most important aspect of therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I understand the importance of having an empathic ear, especially now that we find ourselves with the illusion of being “connected” with one another only to feel more disconnected than ever. We are not born good listeners. Listening is an acquired skill. It is difficult to find someone, even in the professional world of therapy, who really listens and genuinely tries to understand the other person’s world. That is why I try my best to be present with every single person that I meet in the therapy room. I believe in holistically providing treatment so I work under the premise that all individuals have the innate ability to solve their problems although sometimes a guiding hand is necessary to lead one in the right path to have a healthy and happy life. At some point in my life, I worked as Flight Attendant so I often use the metaphor to describe my philosophy that all human beings are travelers in this journey called life. I believe that sometimes, as travelers, we often either don’t pack enough or carry too much luggage. Symbolically, this luggage has been accumulating little by little throughout our lives from the moment we are born. We carry good things in our luggage. But, sometimes, there are too many unnecessary things that are just weighing us down. If we don’t make an effort to make a thorough inventory of all those items our journey will be unpleasant. We know this is happening when we feel stuck in life. We feel unhappy, anxious depressed, hopeless and helpless. Sometimes it's difficult to get out of that loop so this is when therapy can be very helpful.
